1. How do I become an Amante9 member?

Membership can be applied for online or by visiting us at our showroom. All details are on our website

2. Do you offer corporate membership?

Yes. We are extremely happy to welcome corporate members. Full details upon request.

3. Are there any age limits to join?

Membership is available to people aged between 30 and 70. Applicants between 25 and 30 will be considered only if you meet all criteria and have extensive driving experience in high performance cars.

4. Do I need a point free driving licence?

We allow a maximum of two minor traffic offences in the past three years. If you do not fall within this requirement, we may consider your application on a personal basis.

 5. How much driving experience do I need?

You will need to have held a full UK driving licence for five years. You need a minimum of three years no claims bonus and good driving experience in high performance cars.

6. Are there any driving courses I can take?

Yes. Completion of a one-day driver development course will help, before membership is considered for drivers that may not have the requisite experience. We are happy to recommend several accredited courses.

7. Can I book a car online or by telephone?

Yes we are happy for you to do both.

8. What time can I collect a Club car?

Cars can be collected at 11am and must be brought back by 10am on the day of return. This also applies for weekends. (Please note that there will be a nominal tariff for car detailing upon return.)

9. What about Bank holidays?

Bank holidays are classed as normal weekdays. Points are debited according to the corresponding rate. Therefore you can enjoy the club cars for four consecutive days…. so book early!

10. Can you arrange for delivery and collection?

Yes, delivery and collection can be organised to suit your schedule. A standard tariff applies.

11. Can my partner drive the cars?

Yes, partners need written approval by Amante9 and must meet the same criteria as the principal member. One partner per member is the accepted ratio in any one-membership period.

12. Are friends able to share my membership?

No. As previously mentioned we are happy for the nominated partner of the principal member only to enjoy the benefits of their membership. It is also prohibited to loan club cars to friends, family or strangers!

13. What about track days?

No, our cars are for road use only. Cars cannot be used in any form of competitive event or any timed trial, performance test or race, including off road events

14. Can I take Club cars to Europe?

Yes. We are happy for our members to enjoy the experience of driving the cars within the EC but advanced notice of 4 weeks is asked to enable your trip to run smoothly.

15. How many miles am I allowed each day?

We are happy for you to travel up to 150 miles per day or an aggregate thereof over 3 days.

16. How does my membership expire? Can I invest in more points before the year is up?

Membership ceases when a member uses their points allocation. Members can rejoin as soon as this event happens.

17. What happens if I get caught speeding in a Club car?

We are happy to forward any endorsements to the member with the relevant due payments when our office receives them.

18. Am I fully insured?

Yes. All vehicles are comprehensively insured. In the unfortunate event of a car being damaged and the cost of that repair being less than the insurance excess, members will be charged the cost of repair. If the cost of repair is more than the insurance excess, members will be charged the excess. In both cases a surcharge of 15% will be added.

19. Are there any other potential expenses other than the membership and joining fee?

Yes, naturally. Fuel, delivery, damage, events, loss and insurance excess are all additional costs. Costs accrued will be invoiced monthly and can be charged by direct debit or directly to your credit card. There will also be a nominal tariff for car detailing upon return.

20. Is there an incentive to introduce new members to the club?

You will receive an additional 50 points if you successfully introduce a new member on a full membership or 25 point for half membership.
